The NDIS Review recommended that all providers be visible to the regulator, with registration obligations scaled to the risk of the supports delivered. The NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission is progressively implementing a graduated registration model.
Why registration matters
- Registered providers are audited against the NDIS Practice Standards and must have complaints, incident and risk management systems in place.
- Workers must comply with the NDIS Code of Conduct and hold current worker screening.
- Registered providers can invoice NDIA-managed plans directly.
- Participants keep choice and control: you can change providers at any time, and we must give you information about how to do that.
Access Support's position
Access Support (Ametz Group pty ltd. T/A Access Support) is an NDIS registered provider. Our quality system, including our privacy and conflict of interest policies, is maintained against the NDIS Practice Standards and reviewed annually or whenever the rules change.
