The NDIA publishes the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits each year, usually effective 1 July. Recent editions reduced the maximum hourly price limits for physiotherapy, podiatry and dietetics so they align more closely with occupational therapy and speech pathology, and adjusted the rules for provider travel.
Key points for participants
- Price limits are maximums, not set fees. Your service agreement states the price we charge.
- Provider travel is claimable only up to the published limits and only for the time actually travelled to you.
- Non-face-to-face time — report writing, care team meetings, resource preparation — is claimable when it is agreed in advance and clearly documented.
- Cancellation rules follow the current short notice cancellation terms in the Pricing Arrangements.
What we do when prices change
We review every active service agreement against the new Pricing Arrangements, notify you in writing before any change takes effect, and confirm your remaining plan funding covers the sessions already scheduled.
